Paul is the owner and founder of Acara Management and has run the company and team since formation in 2012. He manages our larger instructions and is technical lead for the whole team. Special skills – forgetting emotion, red tape bush whacking and winning.

Rachel is our chief block manager. She ensures leaseholders and freeholders are given a first class service and our blocks are well maintained. Special skills; embarrassing everyone with her organisational prowess.

Lauren looks after our company operations, greasing the wheels behind the scenes working on process, systems and back office. She has experience of all parts of the business, is excellent at multi tasking and also assists tenancy management and the director. Special skills; the best ninja warrior that never was.

Curtis has worked in the building trade for several years. He is one of our hands-on members of the team who spends most of his time out and about visiting the properties we manage to inspect, diagnose problems and complete all those important odd jobs to keep residents happy. Special skills - making himself busy and bypassing pleasantries.

Sandra helps keep us financially ship shape - which is 90% kicking everyone repeatedly for their receipts. She manages to raise invoices, do book keeping at the same time as creating automations on our custom property management platform. There are so many hidden talents, we can't make this page long enough. But if we reach a dead end with something, Sandra has probably read a book or done a course on it.

Nicole oversees customers needs and wishes. She excels at delivering excellent service and results for landlords and tenants! Special skills: painting faces and keeping morale high!

Mick, or if you want to annoy him - Michael, or MickMickMickMick, is our principle inspector - raising standards of management and living right across London daily. He has extensive experience in reactive and planned maintenance, previously working at Surrey University's large campus. Special skills - egg and spoon racing, and football dad.

Andreas hails from the direct opposite side of the globe. He couldn't get further away from home without leaving the planet. We assume he really hated Lord of the Rings and we try not to bring it up. What we do know - is he's a legend and knows the Haka. He also knows painting, drilling, building, lifting, hammering, wiring and all manner of helpful stuff. Special skills - the Haka and escapologist.

He sounds like a Whiskey, but he's actually a clever tradesman. You might think he's some form of Gaelic, but he doesn't sound like it, which is very confusing. We suspect he made up his surname on the spot when we found him in the park and because our background checks are questionably limited, it wasn't challenged.

Careful shaking this man's hand - he's an ex Judo champ, 3 black belts, 16th Dan, competing for Poland for many years. Some say for the Olympics, some say for the Mafia. Who's to say. Also, why does he no longer compete? If he took someone out and it's too dangerous for the world for him to do Judo now - would we even know? Probably not and we have to assume the worst. He's living a secret, quiet life in another country now like James Bond in the beginning of Quantum of Solace. Good for you though if you want a new bathroom.

Imagine a scout with every single badge... that's Cillian. Even if he doesn't actually have every badge - he's that kind of guy. When trying to write a bio, I can't help thinking of Hairy McClary from Donaldson's Dairy. So I want to say he's Cillian McCorry from Jackanory, and that's that. You wish your 19 year old son was him. Many are morons, Cillian is not. Hurray!

If you're in a bad mood, just ring Kwame and everything will be alright because he's the nicest man in the world. He's also a very practical, and experienced block manager. You're in good hands with Kwame, plus you get to say 'Kwame' a lot, which is a great word to say. Like Squish or Yuzz-a-ma-Tuzz. Special Skills: BBQ King and the most die hard Ghanaian who isn't Ghanaian.

Muriel supports all our block management clients - working behind the scenes to grease the wheels. When you experience excellent service - it could well be because of Muriel. Even if it isn't at Acara. Coffee came as a large instead of medium? - Muriel probably did it. Special Skills: Scuba Diving and Weaving (at the same time).

Carlos hails from the exotic Brazil. Why he left the tropics for our weather, we have no idea. He hasn't learnt that in English yet and Google translate still doesn't answer the question adequately for us and we're still left wondering. Special Skills: never not happy.

Robinah is our happy-go-lucky, friend to everyone, dedicated concierge at one of our block instructions. She is like an oracle - if Robinah doesn't know - no one knows. You know? Special Skills: impressive utilisation of metaphor and understated efficiency

Curtis is part of our Concierge team, but has an interest in making music. Mind getting him started on the subject though... he'll chew your ear off!

Mike reminds me of an assassin. He's quiet, confident, speaks multiple languages and he's deadly with a Walther P45. Part of our concierge team, but also studying in Mental Healthcare. So, he's a considerate assassin. He might ruin your life, but he'll be able to help you through the trauma afterwards.

One of us was in Amsterdam and when the opportunity presented itself said, "No! you don't have to put on your red light. Those days are over. Come work for Acara and tell the maintenance team what to do. They'll love it." Whilst possibly not quite as exciting, .... actually i've got nothing.

Valli has a degree in computer application design and a masters in project management and helps with design and implementation of our systems to keep us accurate, reliable and compliant. Special skills - stealth. Being soooo quiet, that everyone forgets she's there.

Asante has a varied role where he offers assistance to multiple departments using his degree in computer science to help grease the wheels. Special skills - adaptability and speedy comprehension.

Nillo's experience in HR is questionable, but what he lacks in knowledge he makes up for in enthusiasm and love. We asked him if he would prefer a role as a mascot or welfare officer, but apparently not. HR is his calling. As well as balls of all kinds.
